Members requiring additional accommodations are encouraged to obtain ribbons at the Accessibility Desk, located at Registration in the Vine Street Lobby.
The ribbons come in 2 varieties: PRIORITY and COMPANION
- PRIORITY is for the member in need of accommodations.
- COMPANION is for the PRIORITY member's assisting plus-one or service animal.
- Each PRIORITY is entitled to 1 COMPANION, but more can be approved on a case-by-case basis.
- PRIORITY must be present for COMPANION to receive any accommodations.
You do not need to provide proof of any disability, or certification for a service animal. Those with a service animal are encouraged to obtain a Service Animal Emergency Card as well, from either the Accessibility Desk or First Aid (Floor 2, Federal B).
Accommodations for ribbon-holders include:
- Priority access to venue elevators
- Being seated first for Panels and Main Events. Those with mobility aids are asked to be mindful of the flow of traffic when choosing where to sit, and those with vision/hearing issues are encouraged to sit in the front rows.
- Chairs provided when in line for Autographs on the 4th floor
Unfortunately, we cannot provide an ASL interpreter or Quiet Space at this time.
If you need any assistance, find a staff member or visit the Info Desk (locations are displayed on the map).
